Functionality

How to Install
Unzip the file 'Android Trader.zip' downloaded from our website and save the file 'AndroidTrader.apk' in the desired folder. Connect your phone to the PC using your Android data cable (an Android file manager is required, if you do not yet have this, it can be found on Android Market) and copy the 'AndroidTrader.apk' file onto your SD memory card. You can browse the file later (after you have disconnected the phone from the PC). Using the File Manager, click on the AndroidTrader.apk file, which will install the application on your phone.
How to Login
First, you must locate the Android Trader software icon on your Android, after installation it should be found on your Android home screen. Click on the Android Trader icon and you will come to a login page for your trading account.
Click on the text fields to edit and input your login and password:
Login
  - Your trading account login
Password
  - Your trading account password
Servers
  - By clicking on the 'Server' button, you have the option of selecting the server.

After entering your account login details, click on the Login button.

Once clicking on the login button your Smartphone will attempt to connect to the server and log you into your trading account.
Save password
Please note that after your first login, your login credentials will be stored so that the following time you open the software you do not have to re-enter. You can disable or enable save password option. To do this tap on 'floppy disk' icon next to your password, you will be notified about the changing. By default, 'Remember Password' is ON.

In the case of your Android going temporarily into sleep mode, when you use it again it will automatically reconnect to the server.

Save account details
When logging into your account, the application allows for the details of multiple accounts to be saved. This "save account details" option, allows you to choose which accounts you wish to save your passwords for (i.e. Demo accounts) and which accounts you wish to remain unsaved.

You have the option to save your Account details, including your password, or to save without the password.

To save your account password within the Android Trader, please ensure the 'Remember Password' option is ON when logging into the account.

To save your account details without the password, simply switch off the 'Remember Password' before logging in.

Once you have logged into the account, this can be found listed within the account number field, of the log in form. To access your list of account numbers, simply tap on the account number field.

Please be aware that when saving your account details to your Android Trader, using the 'Remember Password' option, your details will be remembered for each log in (unless removed from your account list via the 'Remove' option).

By selecting the "Remove" option listed along each of the saved accounts, you are able to remove unwanted accounts, also accounts for which you no longer wish the details to be saved.
Opening a demo account
In order to open a Demo account via your Android, simply select the 'Create Demo Account' button found below the Login button. You will be required to submit a small registration form and then once you click 'Register' your account details will be provided for you. The details will be automatically filled into the login page.
The 6 Main Sections
Upon logging in you will come to the rates area, within the Android Trader software. There are 5 main areas that you should familiarize yourself with. These are:

Rates
  - Brings up the full list of all available instruments.
Favorites
  - You can store your favorite instruments which you wish easily locate and always be viewed in this area.
Trades
  - This area shows your open order details – Open positions, Pending orders and Account status with balance, equity, P/L, margin level, credit, free margin.
History
  - Your trade history gives you the ability to monitor your closed orders, removed pending orders, deposits/withdrawals, and credit within any given timeframe.
News
  - Enables the access to financial news directly from the trading server.
Mail
  - Enables the access to internal mailing notifications directly from the trading server.

Remember these categories are always located along the bottom of the software and are the default 6 main sections.

Rates

Instant (or Market)
  - Opens an instant or market order, depending on the execution type of the instrument.
Pending
  - Creates a pending order: Buy Limit, Sell Limit, Buy Stop, Sell Stop
Chart
  - Directs you to a chart window.
Favorites
  - Adds this instrument to 'Favorites'

Favorites

Instant (or Market)
  - Opens an instant or market order depending on the execution type of the instrument.
Pending
  - Creates a pending order: Buy Limit, Sell Limit, Buy Stop, Sell Stop
Chart
  - Directs you to a chart window.
Move up
  - Moves instrument up in the list
Move down
  - Moves instrument down in the list
Favorites
  - Removes this instrument from 'Favorites'

Trades

When viewing your trades you have a number ofoptions, you can view these as the deposit currency, as points or alternatively using the collective view. The collective view allows you to group all trades of the same currency, giving you a more comprehensive view of your trading activity. All options can be found by selecting the 'menu' button of your Android.

Opening a New Order
Opening an order is simple and can be done from either the Rates section or the Favorites section of the Android Trader. A new order can be placed by selecting a trading instrument of your choice from the main screens of both the Favorites and Rates sections. Clicking on your desired instrument will bring you to a popup bar. Alternatively, you are able to switch between an Instant and pending order by selecting the menu button of your device.
Choose 'Instant' or 'Market' (depending on execution type of the instrument) to open a new open position.

For instant orders you can select and change the volume (vol ), set a stop loss (S/L) or take profit (T/P), then you must choose whether to 'Buy' or 'Sell' by clicking the corresponding button. For Market orders, you can select and change the volume (vol) then you must choose whether to 'Buy' or 'Sell' by clicking the corresponding button and your request to open a new position will be sent. A confirmation screen should appear shortly after the request is approved.

To create a Pending order you may either select the 'Pending' button from the pop up bar or alternatively select the menu button from the instant order screen. The window for creating a pending order will appear. Again, you have the volume (Vol), stop loss (S/L), and take profit (T/P). With the pending order, you set the price that you want the order to activate. By selecting the 'price' option, you will be presented with a scrolling 'Price picker'. Once you have chosen your price, click ok followed by your desired type of the order: Buy Limit, Sell Limit, Buy Stop, and Sell Stop. A confirmation screen should appear shortly.

You can easily switch to chart window either from 'Instant (Market) Order' or from ‘Pending Order’ window by clicking on 'Chart' button below.

Modifying Open Positions
Clicking on an Open position will give you details of that order. From here, you can: Update / Close. If you change or set a Stop Loss (S/L) or Take Profit (T/P) on an open position you must simply click on the 'Update' button to confirm the changes. A confirmation screen should appear shortly after updating the order. If you decide to close an open position tap 'Close' and your request will be sent. A confirmation screen should appear shortly after the request was approved.
Modifying Pending Orders
If you select a pending order from the Trades area, you have the option to Update / Delete the pending order. You can change or adjust the open price, the Stop Loss (S/L) and the Take Profit (T/P), remember after making such changes to click on 'Update. Again, a confirmation should appear shortly after 'Update' or 'Delete' the order.
Partial Close
The partial close option allows you to close part of your trade, leaving the remaining Volume open. In order to partially close your trade, the Volume must be changed within the Volume box. Once making your desired changes you must then click "Close" button. When successfully updated you should receive a confirmation screen.
Charts
Tapping into the chart button in the popup bar will bring you to the chart of the instrument. You have the ability to scroll back on the chart, by moving your finger horizontally, and to zoom in and out by clicking the 'menu' button of your smartphone and choosing the desired zoom option. If you turn your smartphone horizontally, the chart will open to a wider view.
Technical Analysis
Within the charts area, you have access to technical analysis. All analysis options can be found along the top of your chart, in both vertical and horizontal views.
The customization menu allows you to fully customise your charts and technical analysis. You have the ability to change all chart colours, or alternatively select one of the 5 default colour views provided for you. From within this menu you are able to turn on/off your bid and ask lines, your order levels and also the loupe feature.

Order Confirmation
Once deciding to send an Instant (Market) order or even when creating a pending, a screen as shown below will appear attempting to send your request through. You have an option to cancel your request clicking on the 'Cancel' button before your order will be processed and it will indicate if your attempt was successful.
If your order was successfully executed you will be shown a message like so.
There is also another possible outcome for instant request – 'Requote'. In this case, you will receive another message as shown in the picture below. With the 'Requote', you can resend your request at the new price or cancel it.
History
Your trade history gives you comprehensive run down of all your closed orders, removed pending orders, deposits/withdrawals, and credit. You can view the following criteria on each order:
By clicking on the 'History' button in the main menu of Android Trader you can access running a specific report from a certain date range. All you must do is enter the Start date and End date.
News
The mail icon brings you to the internal mailing system. Any internal mail that was sent to you will be stored within the Android. Once you have opened the mail article you are able to delete the article by selecting the 'Delete' button at the bottom of your screen.
Mail
The News icon enables the access to financial news directly from the trading server. To view the body of any news articles you must click on it to start downloading the actual text for that article.
The Android Trader allows you to search for a specific symbol, News article, Mail message and even a specific closed or open trade. The search icon can be found within the top right hand corner of each screen. This will bring up a search box allowing you to specify the item you wish to view.

How to Find and Install using Desktop Manager
To download the Blackberry Trader you will need to add the application using BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Download 'xogee_bb.zip' file from http://www.xogee.com and extract files.
Open the Desktop Manager and select 'Applications'. Click 'Import files' and select ‘XogeeTrader.alx’ from the related folder. Click 'Open'.
The application is now displayed in the Application Loader. To install the application click '+'
Then click 'Apply' in the bottom right corner.
The Update complete screen confirms the download was successful.
How to Find and Install using your Blackberry Smartphone.
Go to 'Browser' in your Smartphone and type https://services.xogee.com/bb/XogeeTrader.jad then click 'Enter'

On the next page click 'Download'

Click 'Ok' after the installation.
How to Log in
Once installed, the application will appear in the Downloads folder. Open the Downloads folder and select the 'Xogee Trader' icon.
Important note: The application is designed for all the Blackberry models running OS 5.0 and higher. Both touch screen and classic models.
The application will launch directly to the Login screen where you can enter your account details: enter your login number and password for your Trading Account.
Select your Trading Server and connection type.
Important note: To connect to trading servers and use your application with Cellular data network (GPRS) make sure that the APN ("Access Point Name") is specified on your Smartphone.
On the Smartphone go to Options->Advanced Options->TCP/IP and enable APN settings. Contact your mobile provider for further information.
Xogee Trader doesn't work with 'BISB' connection type!
The Save password option is enabled by default. If you don't want your password being saved, uncheck this option.
Once you have tapped the login button, it will attempt to connect to the server and log you into your Trading Account. Once the login process is complete, the home screen will appear.

Navigation of Xogee Trader menus is done from the top bar on each page, where you enter the menus using the Xogee Trader icons.
Rates
Shows you the list of all tradable instruments.
Favorites
You can store your favorite instruments that you would like to access quickly and easily – the instruments can always be viewed in this area.
Trades
This function shows your order details: open positions, pending orders, account status including: Current Profit/Loss with swap and commission, Balance, Equity, Credit, Margin, Free Margin, Margin Level.

Trading Functions
Opening a New Order
Opening an order is easy and can be done from the Rates or Favorites screens of the platform. Select your chosen symbol to open the options menu.
You have four options:

- Instant/Market Order

- Pending Order

- Chart

- Add/Remove to Favorites

Select 'Instant/Market Order'

For instant orders and pending orders you can select and change the Volume, set a Stop Loss, and take Profit for the order. For market orders you can select only Volume.
Set trade parameters:

- Volume

- Stop Loss

- Take Profit

- Return to Chart

Then click 'Buy' or 'Sell'

When your order has been processed a confirmation screen will appear.

Closing Open Position
To close an open position you must first select the position you wish to close from the Trades menu where you will be given the option to modify or close your trade.

Select 'Close'

Your request will be sent for processing. When your order has been processed a confirmation screen will appear.

Partial Close
The partial close option allows you to close part of your trade, leaving the remaining Volume open. In order to partially close your trade, the Volume must be changed within the Volume box. Once making your desired changes you must then click "Close" button. When successfully updated you should receive a confirmation screen.
Open a Pending Order

Modifying Open Positions
To modify an open position you need to first select your open trade from the Trades menu. By opening the trade you have the option to modify the Stop Loss and Take Profit values.

To confirm select 'Update'

Modifying Pending Orders
If you select a pending order from the Trades menu, you have the option to Update or Delete. You can also change or adjust the open Price, Stop Loss and Take Profit.

History
Your trade history gives you a comprehensive overview of all your closed orders. First enter the History menu and then use the search icon to enter your date range.
Use the scrolling menu to enter the Start and Finish dates. Click on 'Request' to download the requested history.
